Landforms are what the Earth is made of, weather it be sediment, volcanic, or metamorphic. Landform regions are what separate Canada into different regions based on the type of landform. Rural and urban land use is how the land is used in Toronto, as well as the rest of the world. Ecozones also separate Canada into regions, but unlike landform regions the regions are separated due to vegetation and climate. Climate is made up of the average weather temperatures and conditions (such as rain or snow.)

Once all of these features are put together, they describe the land, how it's used, as well as the weather conditions. They all take part in describing the city of Toronto; they make it easier to comprehend what kind of city Toronto is. After everything is linked together it makes a lot more sense than when they're described individually.
